GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General Information

1.1 ROXTON RECORDS is a sole proprietorship owned by Max Roxton, offering services for DIY artists in recording, production, design, marketing, and more.

1.2 Services are offered internationally.

1.3 Communication is conducted via the official email address. A physical business address will be provided upon request.

2. Services & Business Model

2.1 ROXTON RECORDS offers the following services:

2.2 Services can be booked individually or as a package.

2.3 Payment is currently made as a one-time transaction; subscription models for workshops will be available in the future.

2.4 Profit-sharing is only agreed upon in specific cases, e.g., funding applications or distribution deals (10% of all sales, downloads, and streams).

2.5 ROXTON RECORDS remains a pure service provider without rights to the music unless otherwise agreed. 2.6 There is no minimum contract term, except in specific cases such as distribution deals.

3. Contractual Partners & Target Audience

3.1 Services are available to all legally competent individuals. Minors require the consent of a legal guardian.

3.2 Registration on the website is not required. However, personal data must be provided for service inquiries.

3.3 ROXTON RECORDS collaborates with DIY artists, labels, and management companies.

3.4 A certain qualitative standard is expected. Genres: Rock, Metal, Pop-Rock, Blues, Funk, Country.

4. Prices, Payment & Billing

4.1 Prices are individually calculated based on the request.

4.2 Accepted payment methods: PayPal and bank transfer upon invoice.

4.3 Bookings are not made directly via the website but via email.

4.4 Invoices are due immediately upon issuance.

4.5 Refunds are only available for workshops within 14 days of booking.

4.6 Payouts from distribution deals occur monthly, following an initial 3-month waiting period before the first payout.

5. Copyright & Usage Rights

5.1 Artists retain all rights to their music.

5.2 ROXTON RECORDS offers publishing administration as well as GEMA, GVL, and distribution services.

5.3 ROXTON RECORDS reserves the right to use created images, videos, or audio material for promotional purposes while crediting and tagging the artist.

6. Contract Duration, Termination & Conclusion

6.1 ROXTON RECORDS may unilaterally terminate collaboration if payments are not made. In such cases, created material may be restricted.

6.2 Since services are prepaid, work begins only after payment is received.

7. Liability & Warranty

7.1 There is no guarantee of commercial success or specific results.

7.2 ROXTON RECORDS is not liable for delays caused by cooperation partners.

7.3 Liability is limited to the amount of the paid fee.

8. Data Protection & Customer Data Processing

8.1 Collected data: Name, email address, social media accounts, music data, and optionally phone number.

8.2 Data is only shared with cooperation partners when necessary for the commissioned work.

8.3 A separate privacy policy is available.

9. Right of Withdrawal

9.1 A withdrawal is only possible as long as work has not yet started.

9.2 If a withdrawal is made in time, the payment will be refunded minus a processing fee.

10. Miscellaneous & Special Clauses

10.1 Customers agree that their collaboration may be used as a reference unless they explicitly object.

10.2 ROXTON RECORDS commits to crediting and tagging on social media.

10.3 German law applies. The place of jurisdiction, if necessary, is the location of ROXTON RECORDS.
